Demantoit means &#8216;diamond like&#8217; and makes reference to the outstanding quality of this garnet. Demantoit is one of the most expensive garnets and one of the most precious of all gemstones.<\/p>\n<p>This garnet produces a spectrum of colours from slightly yellowish green to brownish greens with a golden glow, very rarely do we find Demantoit that is a deep emerald green.
