Kunzite
Kunzite colour’s range from pale pink violet to light violet. Named after George F. Kunz who first described the gemstone in 1902. When viewed from different angles Kunzite produces a variety of colour intensities. Kunzite is believed to help the wearer better understand and interact with others.
The top and bottom of Kunzite reveals the deepest colour’s and the gemstone is strongly pleochroic. Kunzite is usually cut in an emerald or step cut.
