Delivery Options
We use the 24-48 hour DPE International countrywide delivery service through South African for the majority of our shipping in South Africa. Free insurance is provided on all parcels shipped from Gemgold Gemstones. Should the items be of a sufficiently high value, Gemgold Gemstones may elect to ship the goods using Ram Hand to Hand couriers.
All parcels are shipped using a waybill system, allowing tracking for peace of mind.
In all cases delivery will require the purchaser or party elected by the purchaser, at the time of purchase, to sign for the goods.
All shipping charges is for the customers account.
How much will postage and packaging cost me?
All our items have a fixed P&P amount ranging from R65 to R250 when using DPE International and R350 to R450 when using Ram Hand to Hand couriers depending on the method of delivery, and or location with a maximum weight of 0.5kg. All parcels shipped by Gemgold Gemstones include insurance at no additional cost. Customers can elect to use their own couriers but no insurance is offered then.
How long will it take for me to get my order?
We aim to deliver to you within 24-48 hours but occasionally it may take longer when shipping on Friday’s. We will always deliver within 2 working days.
Do you deliver everywhere in South Africa?
For hand to hand courier services we deliver to all addresses with a postcode.
Can I track my order progress?
If you provide us with an e-mail address at the point of order, we can send you an order confirmation when all orders you have placed in any one day have been shipped. This will provide you with a parcel tracking number linked to our nominated courier’s website that will allow you to track you order.
